Unlike many leashes, Sleepypod’s new leash designs are tensile- tested for strength. Individual components are tested first, followed by total product testing. The force rating for each Sleepypod leash is then verified at an aeronautical laboratory.

Rest assured when buckling up your pets because Sleepypod products are rigorously tested for safety to include static material tensile testing and dynamic crash testing at the U.S., Canadian, and E.U. standards for child safety restraints. We created the Sleepypod Safety Test Program to improve pet passenger safety. This program requires each Sleepypod product must meet the highest standards for safety in order to reduce exposure to possible hazards. Sleepypod carrier and safety harnesses include Pet Passenger Restraint System (PPRS) components designed by Sleepypod to secure a pet in a vehicle and restrict harmful movement resulting from a sudden vehicle stop or frontal collision.
